1. Getting an Earning Address
ZIL&ETC, like your assets, needs to be kept in a safe place.
The earning address set in your CloverPool account generally uses the wallet address generated by the exchange.
2. Sign up
CloverPool ETC&ZIL merged-mining method is username mining, so you need to register an account and obtain a username.
Please visit cloverpool.com, and follow the instructions to sign up an account so that you can get a username.
3. Ready to mine
Miners:
GPU (supporting NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, and video memory recommended 6GB and above) Some ASIC miners (Ipollo Miner, Forest Miner and Panda Miner already support ETC and ZIL merged mining. But, Jas Miner, YM Miner, Innosilicon A10/A11, KV31, Tibit X8, Antiner E9, and Anex Miner are not yet supported).
System: Windows、Linux.
Software: HiveOS/Bigminer、GMiner、NBMiner and so on.
4. Configure GPU Miners

NBMiner mining settings
After downloading the NBMiner software, please select "Extract the file to the current folder", use the batch file that comes with the software or create a new batch file by yourself, right-click on the batch file, and select "Edit", you can delete or modify the original command parameters, set as follows:
ETC+ZIL Merged Mining：
nbminer -a etchash -o stratum+tcp://etczil.ss.cloverpool.com:1800 -u username.worker_name --enable-dag-cache
The username and worker_name (miner number, naming the miner, custom number or letter combination) are separated by English periods. Please only modify the corresponding characters, and do not increase or decrease spaces or punctuation.
After verifying that the filled information is correct, please save and exit the batch file, then double-click to run the modified batch file to start mining.
1) GMiner mining settings
After downloading theGMiner software, please select "Extract the file to the current folder", use the batch file that comes with the software or create a new batch file by yourself, right-click on the batch file, and select "Edit", you can delete or modify the original command parameters, set as follows:
ETC+ZIL Merged Mining：
miner.exe --algo etchash --server etczil.ss.cloverpool.com:1800 --user username.worker_name --cache_dag 1

ASIC Miner Mining Settings
Please enter the IP address of your miner in the computer browser, and then enter the background of the miner, or use the batch management software provided by the miner official to set the following information:
Pool /URL:etczil.ss.cloverpool.com:1800
User/Worker: CloverPool sub-account.Miner number (the user name and worker number are separated by a period "."; the worker number is customized and can be a combination of numbers or letters, such as test2.001)
Password: all are fine, such as 123
After checking the above information is correct, please save the settings, and the miner will start running after a while, and you can enjoy the benefits.
